Volunteers make possible the work of Troup County Archives and Legacy Museum. Volunteer opportunities include indexing local newspapers for increased accessibility, photo cataloging, digitization projects, historical document processing, oral history transcription, and event assistance. Working on a degree in history, museums, archives, or information organization?

Need job or volunteer experience?

Internships are available year-round and can accommodate an academic schedule. Archives staff is happy to assist with required paperwork for educational credit. Internship opportunities range from processing historical collections, data entry, digital collections tasks, museum exhibit curation, educational programming, and records management tasks and can be designed to fulfill the needs of particular classes.
