Sat. Feb. 13 - Troup Library - 2:00 p.m.- Mr. Wayne Poindexter of Tyler will present a program on his father, Al Poindexter, of Pistol Packin Mama fame.  Al (Dexter) Poindexter wrote and recorded this song in the 1940s and it sold over 3 million copies. 

This song, Pistol Packin Mama, went world wide.
